An Easy Start Learning Turkish for Beginners   (page 1)

Letters, Numbers, Dictionary Links, Turkish Songs

Learning Turkish Language is easy. It has many advantages over other languages:

1) Turkish has no genders but Italian, French, German etc have. In Turkish you don’t have to remember the gender of nouns because there are no genders.

2) Pronunciation of Turkish is easy. In Turkish you don’t have to learn the pronunciation of each word. You learn the pronunciations of letters of the alphabet at first and then you just combine them while reading words but in English you have learn the pronunciation of almost each word. For example the pronunciation of o in God and Toy is totally different and one cannot predict it without listening the word before. On the other hand in Turkish all letters always have the same pronunciation.

3) Turkish has Latin alphabet like English but Bulgarian, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Chinese etc have their own alphabets so you have to learn their alphabets at first.

4) Turkish has no irregular verbs but English etc have. In Turkish you just learn the conjugation rule and then you can easily make the conjugation of all verbs.

Suggestions for learning a language:

1. Study the sentences and their translations (not the words, not the grammar rules).

2. Study by listening when it is possible (not always only by reading).

3. Study slowly (not pass another sentence before learning one).

4. Study real language (study daily speech, not textbook language).
